Work Begins on Kaynaşlı Rallycross Circuit

Following the Bursa Orhangazi and Izmir Menderes rallycross tracks, Turkey's third permanent rallycross circuit will open in Kaynaşlı, Düzce.
The venue will host Round 5 of the Turkish Rallycross Championship, organised by the Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club on 13-14 August, and work began there today in the presence of Kaynaşlı District Governor Şenol Koca, Kaynaşlı Mayor Erol Bayraktar, TOSFED Board Member Onur Sürmeli and Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club President Nevzat Aslan.

ESOK President Nevzat Aslan announced the start of work at the facility on social media with the following statement: "Turkish motorsport is gaining a brand new facility. Today we officially began construction of the Kaynaşlı Rallycross Circuit. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who supported the creation of this facility, above all Düzce Governor Mr Ali Fidan, Kaynaşlı District Governor Mr Şenol Koca and Kaynaşlı Mayor Mr Erol Bayraktar, as well as TOSFED President Serkan Yazıcı, Deputy President Eren Üçlertoprağı and Board Member Onur Sürmeli, who have backed the project from the very beginning, and Architect Tolga Şansal, who drew up the design of the circuit."
