Kaynaşlı Ready for the Big Race

The second round of the 2016 Turkish Off-road Championship is being held on 9-10 April 2016 at the Kaynaşlı Motorsports Centre, organised by the Düzce Automobile Sports and Off-road Club, known as DOSOD, with 33 vehicles and 66 competitors taking part.

The event begins on Saturday 9 April at 13:00 with three passes of the 15.4 km forest stage. On the second day, Sunday 10 April, the 5 km spectator stage will be run three times from 12:00, with the action finishing at 16:20. The prize-giving ceremony will take place at the track at 18:30.

Ahead of this race, brothers Hüsnü Taylan and Hasan Taylan from Sapanca lead the Turkish Off-road Championship standings, with Selami Türkvatan and Yiğithan Tarhan from Ankara second and the father-and-son crew of Mustafa Özgiray and Ekrem Özgiray, also from Ankara, third.
