Karting Excitement at Tuzla

Round 9 of the 2021 Turkish Karting Championship was held at the Tuzla Karting Park circuit on 20-21 November. Organised by Tuzla Motorsporları Kulübü, the event saw a total of 33 drivers compete in the Mini, Junior, Senior and Master classes. In Mini, İskender Zülfikari won all three races to take the round victory. Erin Ünlüdoğan finished second and Teoman Hoskin third. In Formula Junior, Emir Tanju also won all three races to stand on the top step of the podium in Round 9, with Sarp Arhan Or second and Leyla Sulyak third. In the closely fought Formula Senior class, Zekai Özen won the first race, while Kerim Sulyak won the second and third. That made Kerim Sulyak the winner of Round 9, with Zekai Özen second and Berk Kalpaklıoğlu third. In the women's Formula Senior class, Ayda Biter was first, Sude Nur Yurdagül second and Büşra Sena Savaşer third. In Formula Junior, Leyla Sulyak took first place and Ayşe Çebi second, while in the women's Mini class Ada Karayel lifted the winner's trophy. The teams' victory went once again to Dynamic Racing Team.The 2021 Turkish Karting Championship will conclude with Round 10 on 4-5 December at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit, organised by Bursa Uludağ Motor Sporları Kulübü (BUMOSK), where the champions will be decided in all classes.
