Record Entry for Karting Round 4

Round 4 of the MOTUL 2022 Turkish Karting Championship was organised by Bursa Uludağ Motorsporları Kulübü (BUMOSK) at the TOSFED Körfez Karting Circuit on 6-7 August. The event, held with ICRYPEX as title sponsor and with the support of Batı Kurumsal and Uludağ İçecek, saw 49 competitors battle across 5 separate classes. With three races for each class over the two days, the event hosted closely fought racing in every category.
In the TOSFED Micro Support Cup, open to competitors under the age of 9, Uygar Aslan Birgili took the win after scoring the most points over the three races, while Demir Uyan finished second and Doruk Sırnaç third. In the Mini class, Teoman Hoskin of BOM Karting won, with team-mates Rüzgar Evci second and Erin Ünlüdoğan third. In Junior, ICRYPEX-sponsored DRT driver Emir Tanju took first place, while Leyla Sulyak finished the weekend second and Hakkı Dorum third. Leyla Sulyak was also the fastest female Junior driver.
The Senior class, which drew the biggest entry with 22 competitors, was won by BOM Karting's Kerim Sulyak, followed by Sarp Arhan Or in second and Berk Kalpaklıoğlu in third. Among the Senior women, Sena Savaşer took the winner's trophy, with Sude Nur Yurdagül second and BOM Karting's Ayda Biter third. In the Master class, Mehmet Çınar won, with BOM Karting's Aytaç Biter second and Mehmet Yaman third. BOM Karting took the teams' victory.
The MOTUL 2022 Turkish Karting Championship continues with Round 5, which will be organised by Tuzla Motorsporları Kulübü (TMK) at Istanbul Tuzla Karting Park on 17-18 September.
