Altınordu Visits İzmir Park

The monthly social events regularly organised by Altınordu Football Education Club, one of İzmir's long-established football sides, made their latest stop at the İzmir Park Ülkü Race Track.
The young Altınordu players spent a packed day at İzmir Park Ülkü Race Track, where a wide range of sporting activities come together under one roof. They said it was their first time at a sports complex offering karting races, table tennis, billiards, virtual games and paintball, among many other activities, and that they would like to come back often.
Host Ümit Ülkü expressed his delight at welcoming Altınordu: "Altınordu is a very important asset for İzmir. It doesn't just produce footballers, it also takes on an important mission in raising well-rounded individuals. When it comes to contributing to sport, we are always ready to do whatever it takes to fulfil our part. I believe we will have projects to carry out in cooperation with many sporting disciplines. Today we hosted 60 young people here. They took part in many sporting activities throughout the day, and we shared in their excitement. All our efforts are aimed at helping young people get to know motorsport at close quarters, discover the talent within themselves, and allow athletes who will make our country proud to emerge from among them."
Altınordu team captain Hakan Kayalar, who said it was his first visit to the race track, noted that, just like football, motorsport is carried out with good discipline and total concentration, and that it is very important for young people to acquire these habits from an early age.
The event ended with a shirt being presented to host Ümit Ülkü on behalf of Altınordu, and a trophy ceremony for the young people who finished in the top three in the races.
