Izmir Cup Continues with Autocross

The 2018 Izmir Cup continues with the 2nd Izmir Autocross Race, organised by the Aydın Automobile Sports Club (AYOSK) at the Menderes Autocross Track on Sunday 27 May.

The 2nd Izmir Autocross Race, which will be run on an 800-metre track, begins with administrative checks at 9:30 on Sunday 27 May, followed by practice laps between 11:00 and 12:00. The race will be run over a total of 10 laps in two separate sections between 13:00 and 16:30, and will conclude with the prize-giving ceremony at 16:45.
AYOSK President Kuvvet Erim said: "The second race of the Cup will see tough battles. I invite everyone who loves motorsport to come and watch this race and to experience the competitors' superb fight together."
Ahead of the race on Sunday 27 May, the Cup standings are led by Fatih Yavuz in Category 1, Cem Doğrular in Category 2, Bahadır Sevinç in Category 3 and Merve Akyıldız in the Women's class.
