It's Germirli Time

Izmir-based driver Ayhan Germirli both surprised and delighted fans last weekend by completing the Çankaya Hill Climb.
Germirli has started all of the recent events very quickly but has generally failed to finish after going off the road. At the most recent event, the Kaynaşlı Hill Climb, Germirli went off twice, once of them on the descent, and ended up in the "downhill" classification.
After Kaynaşlı, Germirli had the Clio restored to its former looks with polishing compound, then took second in Category 4 on the podium at Ankara Çankaya, earning big applause from supporters who saw the driver on the podium...
If the Renault Clio R3 is ready in time, Germirli will contest Yeşil Bursa Rally in July, and the car's performance on gravel is a matter of curiosity....
We wish Ayhan Germirli, who has broken the run of bad luck, success in the remaining events, and tell the driver: "drive through".
