Prize Money Introduced for İSOFF Challenge

The 2017 İSOFF Challenge season gets under way on Sunday 23 April at the Kemerburgaz off-road track.

To make the cup even more compelling this year, and to offer the crews at least a symbolic reward for the effort and energy they put in, the Istanbul Off-road Club (İSOFF) has introduced prize money for the top three crews at the end of the season. The cup will be decided over three races during the season, with 10,000 TL for the winner, 6,000 TL for second place and 4,000 TL for third.

In the İSOFF Challenge, the crews will progress through the rounds based on their stage times, battling their way up to the final. Following qualifying, the race will start with a mass start and consist of three stages. In the first stage, which runs for 12 laps, the 16 crews that set the best times will earn the right to start the next stage. In the second stage, which runs for 10 laps, only the eight fastest crews will make it through to the final stage. In the final stage, which runs for eight laps, the crew that sees the chequered flag first will lift the winner's cup.

The second race of the 2017 İSOFF Challenge will be held on 28 May, and the final round on 19 November, again on the Kemerburgaz Çifteaalan track.
