Hakan Gürel Closing In on the Cup
In the Oğuz Gürsel TOSFED Rally Cup classification at the Royal Teos 31st Aegean Rally, which drew 62 cars and 124 competitors, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye's Hakan Gürel-Çağatay Kolaylı, who have led since the start of the season, left with the overall win and the Category 2 victory to move another step closer to the cup. 
Second place and the Category 4 win in the cup went to Izmir crew Levent Şapçılar-Deniz Gümüş in a Ford Fiesta Rally3 from the same team, while third place went to Erhan Akbaş-Ersen Yıldız in a Hyundai i20 R5 for GP Garage My Team.
In Category 3, Akın Can Kiper-Efe Eryalaz, who moved from karting to rallying after winning the TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor project in the 2019 season, took the win in a Fiat Egea and also finished fourth overall.
In Category 1, Evren Olcay-Yener Kaya, who began competing this season for Clio Trophy Turkey at the Eskişehir Rally, were the first crew to reach the finish podium at Teos Marina.
The 2022 Oğuz Gürsel TOSFED Rally Cup will conclude with the 42nd Istanbul Rally, organised by the Istanbul Automobile Sports Club (İSOK) on 12-13 November.
