Germirli Starts Season with a Win

Ayhan Germirli, the driver from Izmir, made a rapid start to the season on the debut of the new Renault Clio R3 he will compete in this year, taking his first start at the weekend on home ground in the Karşıyaka Hill Climb organised by the Ege Otomobil Sporları Kulübü.
Setting the fastest climb of the day with a time of 04:45.15, Germirli took the win in Category 4 and also claimed victory in the local classification, making a strong start to both the Turkish Hill Climb Championship and the Aegean Cup.
In 2016, Germirli will also follow the Turkish Rally Championship with Bora Yılmaz as co-driver, and will compete in the Aegean Cup events in Izmir as well.
