Father and Son Climb onto the Podium

The opening round of the 2016 Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Aegean Automobile Sports Club (EOSK) with the support of Karşıyaka Municipality, was held on Sunday 27 March.

Gerçek Sunman, who competes in historic rally and classic car events, did not leave his son on his own at the Karşıyaka Hill Climb and took second place in Category 1. And Sunman, in a Fiat 131 prepared at GT Garage, also managed to reach second place in the local class on a debut event.
The father and son will again be rivals when they start the Aegean Rally, the opening round of the Turkish Rally Championship, to be held in Izmir on 16-17 April.
