Alakoç Leads Fiesta Rally Cup

The Fiesta Rally Cup, the single-make rally cup organised by Turkey's oldest and most established team, Ford Motorspor Türkiye, continued with Yeşil Bursa Rally on 21-23 July.Run with the support of Ford Otosan and technical backing from Teknik Motorsport, the cup offers young and amateur rally enthusiasts the chance to compete on suitable terms. It is contested within the Turkish Rally Championship events by Fiesta R2T, Fiesta R2 and Fiesta ST rally cars.At the end of Yeşil Bursa Rally, the first gravel event of the 2017 season, the Fiesta Rally Cup class wins were shared: Ümitcan Özdemir-Batuhan Memişyazıcı won R2T, Cem Alakoç-Yusuf Çelik took R2 and the brothers Onur Çelikyay-Uğur Çelikyay won ST.
After Bursa, Cem Alakoç leads the cup standings on 45.5 points, with Ümit Can Özdemir second on 40.2 points and Özcan Söke third on 21.5 points.The Fiesta Rally Cup will continue with the 38th Istanbul Rally, organised by the İstanbul Otomobil Sporları Kulübü (İSOK) on 9-10 September 2017.
