Buğra Fastest of the Egea Youngsters

The second round of the Egea Gençler Kupası, the International Eskişehir Rally, which hosted a fierce fight between identical Fiat Egea 1.4 T-Jets, ended with victory for the Buğra Can Kılıç-Ali Emre Yılmaz crew, competing with the backing of Polikarbon, Port Alaçatı and Kıyı İstanbul.

The young driver began a career in the 2017 season by joining the TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor project, and moved into rallying in 2018 with the Egea Gençler Kupası. Kılıç, who drew attention with strong stage times in the first season, made a rapid start to 2019 by finishing first in the 2WD and youth classes at Sarıkamış Rally, the opening event of the season.

The Kılıç-Yılmaz crew, who won the Egea Gençler Kupası at Aegean Rally, the first event of the season, arrived in Eskişehir as cup leaders and repeated their victory. Behind Buğra, the Onat Telkenar-Efe Eryalaz crew took second place in Eskişehir, while Mehmet Can Dinç-Tunahan Aktaş completed the podium in third.
The Egea Gençler Kupası season will continue with the Istanbul Rally, organised by the İstanbul Otomobil Sporları Kulübü on 6-7 July.
