Çebi Impresses at Franciacorta

Turkish national karting driver Ayşe Çebi, who suffered an injury in October and spent some time away from the track, took to the Franciacorta circuit in Italy for the ROK Cup Festival 2024.

Racing for Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport, the 16-year-old took on strong opposition in the senior category, which featured 28 drivers from six different countries, two of them women.

Çebi made a quick start to the weekend with the fifth-fastest time in official practice, and then finished qualifying in eighth place.

Our young representative finished the first race in 12th place. In the second race, she pitted after her front bumper came off and was unable to complete the race, then finished the third race in 16th after starting from the back of the grid. Starting the final race from 18th, Ayşe took the chequered flag in 11th place.

Çebi will next compete in the Rotax Golden Trophy at the Genk circuit next weekend, and we wish our driver every success.
