Turkey's First "Drift Queen" Is on the Way

In a drifting scene that has so far been dominated by male drivers, Özge Kılcı Bağ, a female driver who has been making a name for herself with her results, is preparing to make history this weekend with a podium in her sights.

Özge, who has caught the eye this season with her outstanding performances in a BMW E46 M50 Turbo, goes into the final round on 258 points and is a strong contender for third place in the championship. The first woman to take a podium finish in the opening round of the 2024 season, finishing third, Özge Kılcı Bağ is an inspiration to many female competitors with her determination and talent, and with the fighting spirit she has shown by competing on equal terms with the male drivers.

The season finale takes place on Sunday 8 December at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit, and we wish all the competitors, Özge in particular, the very best of luck.
