Closely Fought Finale at Körfez
Rounds 7 and 8 of the MOTUL 2024 Turkish Karting Championship, the final round of the season, were organised by Nimara Otomobil Spor Kulübü (NİMOSK) at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track. A total of 58 competitors took part across five categories – micro, mini, junior, senior and master – in an event staged with the support of Spor Toto, ICRYPEX, Motul, Marmaris Municipality and the Marmaris Chamber of Commerce.
After three races in every category over the two days, Zayn Sofuoğlu won the micro class from Bulut Tırınk and Ali Ersin Yücesan, while in mini Can Özler took the win ahead of Ali Fuat Miras and Rüzgar Evci.
In junior, Erin Ünlüdoğan finished first, Demir Sağım second and Oğuz Aydoğan third. In senior, the top three were Yağız Tekşan, Leyla Sulyak and Kerim Sulyak, while in the senior women's category Leyla Sulyak took first and Zeynep Çukurova second to complete the podium.
In master, Murathan Gür won from İlyas Vurgeç and Mehmet Çınar, while Dynamic Racing Team took the teams' title.
