Governor Kaymak Backs Major Event

The third round of the 2018 Turkish Off-road Championship will be hosted by Vezirköprü Offroad Club, with Peli Parke as title sponsor, in Vezirköprü on 30 June-1 July.

Vezirköprü Offroad Club President Abbas Tasalı and the Organising Committee briefed Samsun Governor Osman Kaymak on the event. In the meeting, Governor Kaymak expressed his satisfaction at seeing such a variety of sporting disciplines active in Samsun, the Capital of Sport, and announced that he would attend the event to give the start.

To ensure the event runs safely and smoothly, a security meeting was also held with Vezirköprü Garrison Commander, Gendarmerie First Lieutenant Selçuk Yılmaz. At this meeting, information was given about the event, which will bring together clubs, competitors and officials from different provinces.
Club officials thanked the important public institutions supporting this major event, which is being organised with Peli Parke as title sponsor: the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation, the Samsun Governorship, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, Vezirköprü Municipality, the Vezirköprü Garrison Command, the Vezirköprü Forestry Management Directorate, the Samsun Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency and the 112 Provincial Ambulance Service Chief Physician's Office. They also wished success to the clubs and competitors travelling from various regions of Turkey.
