64 Crews to Start in Bursa

The Atış Yapı 43rd Yeşil Bursa Rally, the fourth round of the 2018 Turkish Rally Championship, organised by the Bursa Automobile Sports Club (BOSSEK) with the support of Nilüfer Municipality, takes place on 3-5 August. The event, which will see 64 cars and 128 competitors take part, begins at 20:00 on Friday 3 August with a ceremonial start in front of the Nilüfer Halk Evi, accompanied by displays from the Yeşil Bursa Sword and Shield and Folklore Association.
SERVICE PARK AT TIMSAH ARENA
The rally will be run on asphalt roads in the Orhaneli Keles region, with 105.57 km of special stages and a total distance of 464.12 km. The first day, on Saturday 4 August, starts from 11:00 at the service park at Timsah Arena. After the Nilüfer and Selçuk Özsevinç stages are each run twice, the final stage of the day, from 16:35, will be the Atış Yapı Spectator Stage at Yunuseli Airport. Apexmasters drifting drivers will also meet Bursa's motorsport fans for the first time before the spectator stage, providing unforgettable moments. After the spectator stage, the first day of the rally will finish at the service park at Timsah Arena.
CLASSICS WILL COMPETE TOO
The crews, who will be back behind the wheel from 09:00 on Sunday morning, 5 August, face a tough fight on the second day. After the Ahmet Burkay, Downtown and Ömer Çokran stages, the crews will return to service before settling their battle on the BOSSEK Power Stage bonus stage. The rally, which will also award points to the Turkish Historic Rally Championship, featuring classic rally cars over 35 years old, and the Ali Sipahi Rally Cup, in addition to the Turkish Rally Championship, will end at the finish podium in front of the ALOFT Bursa Hotel from 17:00.
GÜCENMEZ COMPETES WITH DENİZ FAHRİ
The most eye-catching name on the entry list for the Atış Yapı 43rd Yeşil Bursa Rally is Bahadır Gücenmez. Having parted ways with Yağız Avcı, with whom he competed for many years, before this season, Gücenmez will compete from this rally with Deniz Fahri, who is following the championship from Northern Cyprus with the backing of ROCKS Hotels, in a Ford Fiesta R5.
ALPARSLAN ÇUKUROVA IN A FABIA R5
Alparslan Çukurova, whom we have so far seen in EVO IX and R2 cars, will have his first R5 experience in Bursa in a Skoda Fabia R5 in BC Vision Motorsport colours, while Erkan Güral will try something different for the first time in a Peugeot 208 R2.
Hakkı Ağaoğlu, who was unable to start the first three rallies of this season because of work commitments, will return after a long break at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX for GP Garage My Team in Bursa. Ağaoğlu's co-driver, whose identity is being kept a closely guarded secret, is a source of curiosity...
