Three Autocross Events in One at Bursa

Bursa Otomobil Sporları Kulübü BOSSEK will stage its Local Autocross Races at Orhangazi on 12-13 May. Organised in Bursa with the support of Orhangazi Municipality, the event will be run in a single-car start format on the autocross track at the Gölkenarı Sports Facilities, on the shore of Lake Iznik. Under this year's revised rules, drivers who compete in at least three local autocross events during the season and finish in the top five of their class will earn the right to take part in the final of the Turkish Rallycross Championship, organised by TOSFED. In the final, which will be run in a multi-car start format, the drivers with the highest points in their classes will win the Turkish Rallycross Championship titles in their respective classes. The weekend begins on Saturday 12 May with administrative and technical checks from 09:30 to 10:00; Saturday will see Race 1 and qualifying for Race 2, while Race 2 and Race 3 will be held on Sunday 13 May from 09:45. The races will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony at 17:00, with entries expected not only from Bursa but also from the Istanbul region.
