Burkay Springs a 208 T16 R5 Surprise

Returning to the Turkish Rally Championship after a long break with the newly formed BC Vision Motorsport team this year, Ahmet Burkay has pulled off a surprise for the season finale at Hitit Rally, entering a Peugeot 208 T16 R5.

Burkay began the season in a Citroen DS3 R3T and also competed on the gravel rallies in a Peugeot 208 R2, sealing the Turkish Rally Class 3 Championship title with one round of the season still to run. At Hitit Rally in Çorum, he will compete at the wheel of an R5 car as preparation for the 2017 season.

With this entry, BC Vision Motorsport becomes the first team to field two R5 cars in the Turkish Rally Championship. At Hitit Rally the team will be represented by the crews of Burak Çukurova-Vedat Bostancı (Citroen DS3 R5 Evo), Ahmet Burkay-Bilge Ayan (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) and İsmet Toktaş-Kaan Özşenler (Peugeot 208 R2).
