Baja Championship Kicks Off in Düzce
Introduced in Turkey in 2018 as the Marmara Baja Cup, baja continued for three seasons with TOSFED Cup status before gaining a 'national' identity from 2023 as the Turkish Baja Championship.
The new championship will crown three separate champions, in the Car, SSV and Truck categories, with cars again divided into four separate classes according to engine capacity.
The provisional calendar for the four-event championship was announced by TOSFED on 21 January. The season, which is expected to attract high entries, will begin on 17-18 June in Düzce, the final event of last season.
After rounds in Denizli in July and Bursa in October, the season will conclude in Bolu on 18-19 November, where the 'first' champions will be decided.
