Baja Championship Concludes in Denizli

Baja Denizli, the fourth and final round of the 2023 Turkish Baja Championship, was organised by Denizli Doğa 4×4 Offroad ve Otomobil Spor Kulübü (DENDOFF) on 16-17 December, with ICRYPEX as title sponsor and the support of Merkezefendi Municipality. 21 vehicles and 42 competitors took on the 53.79-kilometre Edip Yaşar Kurtoğlu stage on the first day and the 95.28-kilometre Kenan Çarpışantürk stage on the second. At the prize-giving ceremony held at the Merkezefendi Municipality Cultural Centre, which brought the event to a close, Abdullah Turgut-Arda Şenay took victory in the SSV class, with Ali Saim Tekin-Furkan Aydınbaş second and Eren Alver-Medeni Soysal third. In the car class, Alper Sarper-Cihan Armağan claimed victory, while Aziz Görkan-Göksel Günaydın finished second and Mehmet Tüfekçioğlu-Tuvana Sayar completed the podium in third.Following this event, in a baja discipline that gained national status this season by being elevated to Turkish Championship level for the first time, the Abdullah Turgut-Arda Şenay crew in the SSV class and, in the car class, driver Atilla Baybara and co-driver Tuvana Sayar have mathematically secured their first championship titles. The championship standings will become official once they have been announced by the TOSFED Sporting Commission.
