Curtain Falls on Turkish Rally Season in Istanbul

The 43rd Istanbul Rally, the seventh and final round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2023 Turkish Rally Championship, is being held on the Anatolian side of Istanbul from 22-24 December. Organised by the Istanbul Automobile Sports Club (İOSK) with the support of ICRYPEX, Otokoç, Koç Finans, Sardunya, T.T.O.K. and Şile Municipality, the event will see 45 crews and 90 competitors fight for the best result over two days. The final rally of the season, which will decide the champions and class winners in the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2023 Turkish Rally Championship, will also award points towards the Turkish Historic Rally Championship and the Erkan Bodur TOSFED Rally Cup. The rally will be run over a route of 386 kilometres in total, including 116.38 kilometres of special stages, and will begin with a start ceremony in front of Şile Municipality from 18.15 on the evening of Friday 22 December. The first day of the rally, Saturday 23 December, will consist of two passes each through the Esenceli (Remed Assistance), Göçbeyli (Otokoç) and Üvezli (Turing) stages. The crews will return to the service park in the Şile Municipality seafront car park that evening to complete the day. On Sunday 24 December, the crews will tackle the Bozgoca (Şile Municipality) and Göksu (Koç Finans) stages twice each, before collecting their awards on the finish podium at the service park from 17.00.
