Baja Resital Takes Competitors' Breath Away

The opening round of the 2023 Turkish Baja Championship, Baja Resital, was organised by Bursa Alternatif Sporlar Kulübü (BASK) on 30 September-1 October. Staged with ICRYPEX as title sponsor and the support of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, the event was held on a demanding course made tougher by rainy weather, in the Dağyenice area on the first day and the Mustafakemalpaşa Suuçtu Waterfall area on the second. In the SSV category, Abdullah Turgut-Arda Şenay took the win, with İsrafil Akyüz-Mert Tepe second and Diren Üykü-Caner Çapar third. In the Car category, Murat Kamil Altun-Tuvana Sayar opened the season with victory, while Atakan Keskin-Duygu Yılmaz Keskin finished second and Özgür Şenyurt-Volkan İşler third. In the Car classes, Kenan Özsoy-Harun Deynek won Class 4, Atakan Keskin-Duygu Yılmaz Keskin took Class 3 and Murat Kamil Altun-Tuvana Sayar won Class 2. The 2023 Turkish Baja Championship will continue with the second round, organised by Bolu Offroad Spor Kulübü (BOLOFF) on 28-29 October.
