The final round of the Marmara Baja Cup, BAJA İSOFF, is being organised by the Istanbul Offroad Club (İSOFF) as a two-day event at Istanbul Park on 15-16 December.

The first of the three rounds in the Marmara Baja Cup was held by the İstanbulpark Sports Club (İPSK) on 17-18 November. Of the 27 crews that competed over four stages on a 211.79 km off-road route, Kenan Çarpışantürk and Harun Çarpışantürk, driving a Nissan Xterra in the TH2 class, took first place in the overall classification.

In the second round, organised by the Bursa Alternative Sports Club (BASK) in Bursa on 1-2 December, 25 crews competed over a 142-kilometre route at Baja Apolyont. Contested in the TH1, TH2 and SSV classes, the event was won by Kenan Özsoy and Harun Deynek, who started in the TH2 class in a Nissan Navara.

On the 215-kilometre route prepared for BAJA İSOFF, the first day will feature a spectator stage of around 9 km followed by an 80.5 km forest stage. The second day will see two forest stages and one spectator stage. The stages will be run on earth and rocky surfaces, and although the increasingly slippery ground after several wet weeks and the higher water levels at the water crossings will make life much harder for the crews, they are also expected to make the race more exciting and more enjoyable.

After the first two events of the Marmara Baja Cup, Kenan Çarpışantürk and Harun Çarpışantürk lead the standings with 37 points. Kenan Özsoy and Harun Deynek are second with 24 points, and Deniz Dağlı and Sibel Dağlı are third with 22 points.

The winner of the Marmara Baja Cup will be decided after this final race.
