The third round of the Black Sea Off-road Platform will take place on 14 August 2016 in the Fırtına Valley in Rize's Ardeşen district, organised by the Ardeşen Off-road Sports Club (ARDOFF).

Prepared through the intensive efforts of the Rize Governorship, the Ardeşen District Governorship, Ardeşen Municipality, the Rize Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports and ARDOFF, the event stands out as the first race of the season to be held in Ardeşen, one of Rize's most beautiful districts.

The course, on which 70 competitors and 35 off-road vehicles from Azerbaijan, Iran, Armenia, Georgia and Russia, as well as Turkey, will battle it out, has been prepared with great care to be easy to follow and highly enjoyable for spectators.

The event begins with a ceremonial start in Ardeşen town centre on Saturday 13 August, and the programme also includes rafting descents and camp games organised for participants in the Fırtına Valley.

The competition starts at 11:00 on Sunday 14 August and, after the 6-kilometre, 10-gate spectator stage with obstacles has been tackled three times, will continue until 15:30. The event will conclude with the award ceremony at 17:00.
