Mediterranean Cup Final Held in Osmaniye

The final round of the 2022 Mediterranean Off-road Cup, organised by the Osmaniye Motorsport and Off-road Sports Club with the support of Osmaniye Municipality, produced colourful scenes. The event, held on the off-road course on the Fakıuşağı Dereobası road, was also followed by Osmaniye Governor Erdinç Yılmaz, Garrison Commander Artillery Colonel Hakan Kocabaş and Mayor Kadir Kara.
Contested by 18 specially built off-road vehicles from different cities, the race was run over three laps of a 4.5-kilometre course and was followed with great interest and excitement by the many spectators who filled the area.
At the end of the race, Zeynel Can Özgünay-Murat Gürtekin won Class 1, with Yasin Fırat-Burak Arık second. In Class 2, Haceli Şam-Ebubekir Uysal took the win, ahead of Remzi Yırtıcı-Hakan Yiğit in second and Can Tunay Açıkgöz-Halik Akgün in third.
In Class 3, Mesut Kara-Doğan Akpınar finished first, İrşat Biçer-Fettah Yiğit second and Oğuzhan Mercan-Ahmet Ali Günar third, while in Class 4 Yiğithan Tarhan-Hasan Armutçu took the win, Çağdaş Bağdatlı-Ulaş Özden were second and Abdullah Çardak-Kemal Arıcan completed the podium in third.
In the overall classification, Yiğithan Tarhan-Hasan Armutçu were first, Haceli Şam-Ebubekir Uysal second and Çağdaş Bağdatlı-Ulaş Özden third.
