Turkish Crews Shine in Greece
Ten crews from Türkiye took part in the second round of the FIA European Baja Cup, the Greece Off-road Rally, where İsrafil Akyüz-Mert Tepe, competing for Rally Raid Team Türkiye, finished as Eastern European Series winners and runners-up in the FIA European Baja Cup T4 class, while İzzet Nazlıaka-Hakan İsen took fourth place in the TH1 class of the Eastern European Baja Series classification.
Mert Becce-Sertaç Tatar and Yağız Birinci-Ali Emre Yılmaz, who were competing in the FIA European Baja Cup classification, were unable to finish the event because of mechanical failures, while our representatives in the Eastern European Baja Series, Bener Baş-Çağrı Çıtanak, Özgür Şenyurt-Volkan İşler, Abdullah Turgut-Arda Şenay, Mert Öztiryaki-Polat Emsen, Diren Üykü-Baran Aşkın and Derin Doğaner-Ali Doğaner Doğu, were among those who did not reach the finish.
The 2023 FIA European Baja Cup will continue with the Hungarian Baja, to be held in Hungary on 10-13 August.
