A Brave Young Talent in the Middle East!

TOK SPORT WRT will line up with talented young driver Yiğit Timur at the International Qatar Rally, which will be held on 4-6 February as the opening round of the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC).

On the Qatar Rally, one of the most prestigious events thanks to its demanding weather and road conditions, drivers will cover a total of 535 km, 241 km of which are special stages. TOK SPORT WRT, the only Turkish team on the start list of an event that includes Nasser Al Attiyah, known for his successes in top-level competitions such as the World Rally Championship and the Dakar Rally, and many other well-known drivers, is aiming for the top of the Group N class in the Middle East Rally Championship this season with Yiğit Timur and Ufuk Uluocak. Yiğit Timur, the first Turkish driver to compete in the World Rallycross Championship RX Lites category, achieved a great result by finishing his debut season in fourth place. By finishing second in the Finnish round of the championship, the young driver, who makes us proud as the "first and only Turkish" driver to take a podium in a World Championship in the history of Turkish motorsport, will compete in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X with the support of TOK SPORT WRT.

In the International Qatar Rally, the opening event of the championship, another Turkish crew, Vedat Diker and Erdal Oral, will also compete in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X.
