Changes to the Competition Calendar

Two changes have been made to the 2016 TOSFED competition calendar in the rallycross and drifting disciplines...
The opening round of the Turkish Rallycross Championship, scheduled for 9-10 April 2016, has been postponed to 7-8 May 2016. The postponement request sent to TOSFED by Ankara Otomobil Kulübü ANOK, due to the delay in completing the track, was deemed acceptable.
The other change concerns drifting, which has been promoted to national status this season. The Drift Championship rounds listed in the 2016 Competition Calendar for 9-10 April and 25-26 June, which were planned to be organised alongside the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, have had their dates changed because of busy schedules.
Under the revised plan, the opening round of the season will take place on 16-17 April 2016 at the Izmir Park circuit, with the first day serving as practice alongside the Aegean Rally spectator stage. The Körfez Circuit round, originally announced for 25-26 June, has been moved to 13-14 August.
