Rain-Hit Race Takes Breath Away

Round 6 of the MOTUL 2022 Turkish Karting Championship was held on 8-9 October at the TOSFED Körfez Karting Circuit, organised by the Bursa Professional Automobile Sports Club (OTOSK).
The OTOSK Karting Race, which was run in heavy rain on the first day, saw 57 competitors take part: nine in Micro, 12 in Mini, 12 in Junior, 15 in Senior and nine in Master.
In the races, held with ICRYPEX as title sponsor, Yunus Deha Ersin won the Micro class, ahead of Demir Uyan in second and Uygar Aslan Bilgili in third, while in Mini, Rüzgar Evci of BOM Karting Team took the win, with Can Özler second and Erin Ünlüdoğan third.
In Junior, Emir Tanju of Dynamic Racing Team won once again, with team-mates Hakkı Dorum and Eyüp Yağız Teşkan completing an all-Dynamic Racing Team podium in second and third.
In the Senior class, which had the biggest entry with 15 drivers, Sarp Arhan won, ahead of Gün Taşdelen in second and Mert Ali Sarıçiçek in third, while the Master order was Aytaç Biter of BOM Karting Team, Mehmet Çınar and Barış Karadeniz.
In Junior Women, Leyla Sulyak of Dynamic Racing Team won, with Ayşe Çebi second and Zeynep Büyükpınar third, while in Senior Women, Sude Yurdagül took the win, ahead of Sena Savaşer in second and Ayda Biter in third. Dynamic Racing Team claimed the teams' victory.
The karting season will conclude with Round 7, to be held at the TOSFED Körfez Karting Circuit on 29-30 October.
