X-Trial Cup Gets Under Way in Şile

Round 1 of the 2018 Marmara X-Trial Cup was organised by the Şile Nature Sports Club (DOSD) with the support of Şile Municipality on 12-13 May 2018.
The opening event of this year's single-vehicle X-Trial format, run with local status, was followed with excitement and interest by a large crowd of spectators over two days on a course prepared in Ahmetli Village, Istanbul-Şile…
A total of 19 vehicles and 38 competitors took part in the event, which was classified in two categories… In the Prototype category, Oğuz Kaan Öztürk-Atilla Çakır took the win, with Burak Ayvaz-Semih Noyan second and Kubilay Tüfekçi-Orhan Doğan third.
In the Extreme category, Umut Uyar-Gökhan Yalçın finished first, Nurullah Ateş-Yusuf Uyar second and Erkan Kaynak-Avni İnce third.
The 2018 Marmara X-Trial Cup will continue with Round 2, organised by TRAKOFF on 21-22 July.
