Alver and Oğuz Take Victories at Vezirköprü
The Vezirköprü Off-road Race, round four of the PETLAS 2026 Turkish Off-road Championship, ended with wins for Eren Alver-Onur Sırımoğlu in the SSV class and Şehmuz Oğuz-Harun Ulusoy in the car class.
The event, which attracted 21 vehicles and 42 competitors, was organised with the support of PETLAS, Spor Toto, the Samsun Governorship, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, the Vezirköprü District Governorship and Vezirköprü Municipality. Followed by a large crowd of spectators, it produced a fierce battle on a course made considerably tougher by rain.
In Vezirköprü, where the excitement never let up over the two days, Şehmuz Oğuz-Harun Ulusoy took victory in the car category, with Yakup Çimiç-Adem Paç second and Ahmet Köse-Birol Çoruhlu third on the podium.
In the SSV category, Eren Alver-Onur Sırımoğlu crossed the line first, ahead of Ergun Çirkin-Bora Kayım in second and Erkan Sülün-Mert Tepe in third. In the female co-drivers' classification, Yasemin Biber Toker finished first and Gülten Toprak second.
The PETLAS 2026 Turkish Off-road Championship will continue with round five, organised by the Ankara Offroad Sports Club (ANDOFF) on 12-13 September.
