Rally Turkey Preparations Continue

Rally Turkey, the 11th round of the 2019 World Rally Championship, will be held from 12-15 September around Muğla, based in Marmaris.
A greater number of Turkish and international spectators is expected at the Turkish round of the World Rally Championship, which is followed by close to 5 million spectators over a season. Organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) and carrying the distinction this year of being "the biggest sporting event our country will host", the rally will give spectators four days of watching world-famous drivers and enjoying thrilling moments in a region where green and blue meet.
Sponsored by Spor Toto, Avis, Go İpragaz, Socar, Anex Tour, Pilotcar, Autoclub and Ahu Hospital, and organised with the contributions of the Muğla Governorship, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, Marmaris Municipality, the General Directorate of Highways, the General Directorate of Forestry and the Marmaris Chamber of Commerce, the rally is expected to produce even closer battles with two new stages added this year.
Starting on the evening of Thursday 12 September with a spectator stage in the centre of Marmaris, the rally will continue for three days on stages in the Marmaris-Datça-Muğla region and, as last year, can be watched both from the land and from the sea aboard boats.
The Turkish round of the championship, which reaches 25 million viewers on YouTube and 849 million viewers across 155 television channels worldwide, won praise last year from the authorities, competitors and foreign media alike, and was regarded as one of the best of the season's 13 events.
