The work carried out by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) at WRC Rally Turkey, together with the Environmental Protection and Packaging Waste Recovery Foundation (ÇEVKO), to raise environmental awareness and reduce the event's carbon footprint has not gone unnoticed by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). FIA officials examined the processes and practices of the environmental programme prepared for Rally Turkey and accredited the event at the two-star level.

In cooperation with Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team and Marmaris Municipality, volunteers carried out a clean-up at the spectator points at the İçmeler Pazaryeri on World Cleanup Day on 15 September. TOSFED also ran information campaigns on environmental awareness for rally fans via its social media accounts. In addition, the TOSFED Women's Committee made a donation to the TEMA Foundation on behalf of all competitors taking part in Rally Turkey, under its "One Driver, One Sapling" project.
