Trial Moves to Çan for the First Time

Round three of the Turkish Trial Championship, a different type of event within the off-road discipline, will be held in Çan for the first time on 30-31 May. The event is being organised by the Bursa Alternative Sports Club (BASK) with the support of Çan Municipality

It will begin on Saturday 30 May at 12.30 with a ceremonial start in front of the Çan Municipality Thermal Hotel.

The competition will continue over two days on Çan's Erenler Hill, with a concert at the event site on Saturday evening adding to the atmosphere. The event will resume on the second day, Sunday 31 May, and conclude with a prize-giving ceremony.

Speaking about the event, Çan Mayor Abdurrahman Kuzu said: "What I enjoy and get most excited about in local government is doing things that haven't been done before. In my view, local government requires the ability to go beyond routine work, because continuing what has been done before is easy. The hard part is bringing to life something that has never been done. For that reason, we will keep on doing things that haven't been done before. To that end, we have made every effort to bring round three of the Trial Championship to Çan, and now it is time to enjoy the excitement. From here, I invite everyone who hears our voice to share in our excitement" he said.
