TRAKOFF Ready for First Trial

The Trakya Off-road Club (TRAKOFF) held a press conference about the Local Trial Event it will stage on 3-4 December at the course in the Şahbaz neighbourhood, built by Çorlu Municipality.

The press conference was attended by Ergene District Governor Fatih Kızıltoprak, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Albayrak, Çorlu Mayor Ünal Baysan and Deputy Mayors Erdoğan Demirci, Serhat Çatalkaya, Ahmet Sarıkurt, Oktay Çolpan and Kemalettin Avcı, Çorlu District Director of National Education Mustafa Güçlü, AK Party Çorlu District Chairman Kerim Atalay, Republican People's Party Çorlu District Chairman İsmail Akar, Şahbaz neighbourhood head Recep Soydan, Çorlu Chamber of Drivers and Motorists President Abdullah Baş, and members of the press.

Çorlu Mayor Ünal Baysan made a short statement at the meeting, saying: "A race track is being built on 65 decares of land, 700-800 metres from the Şahbaz neighbourhood, through a collaboration between Çorlu Municipality and TRAKOFF. Work is close to completion, and cyclists and motorcyclists will also be able to use this track."

While thanking Çorlu Municipality for the course allocated to them, TRAKOFF officials announced that 30 vehicles and 60 competitors are expected to take part in the event on 3-4 December, and that the crews will compete in teams of two vehicles each...
