Hill Climb Champions to Be Decided in Ankara

The final round of the Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Ankara Automobile Sports Club with the support of Kazan Municipality on Sunday 9 November 2014, will decide the 2014 Turkish hill climb champions.
Run over two ascents of an 8.5km stage starting from Kazan's Ahi village, the event will get under way at 13:30 when the first car is flagged away.
In an event organised jointly with the Engelsiz Motorsporları Kulübü, Yön Sanat Derneği and the World Cerebral Palsy Association, disabled individuals will also be introduced to motorsport. Engelsiz Motorsporları Kulübü deputy president Erman Eranıl will start as co-driver in the opening car driven by Sinan Saatçi.
The event, held with the support of Kazan Municipality, can be watched free of charge by all residents of Ankara.
ANOK President Metin Ertuğrul said of the event: "Last year, with the support of Kazan Mayor Lokman Ertürk, we were able to organise our hill climb in Ankara again after many years. Kazan Municipality has supported us again this year and made a major contribution to the continuity of the event by helping the course become a classic. God willing, we will take this event to a much better place in the coming years. Through you, I would like to once again extend my thanks to Mr Lokman Ertürk."
