Hill Climb Finale Held at Buharkent

The sixth and final round of the AVIS 2021 Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Aegean Automobile Sports Club (EOSK) with the support of Buharkent Municipality, took place on 20-21 November. The event began on Saturday 20 November with a ceremonial start in Buharkent Square, with 15 competitors taking the start in a contest featuring cars from four separate classes.
On Sunday 21 November, over two runs up the 7.50-kilometre course, İsmail Tamer İşgüder took Class 1 victory in a Fiat Palio, while Evren Girgin, the female competitor driving a similar car, finished second. In Class 2, Burak Başlık, competing in a Ford Fiesta R2 for BC Vision Motorsport, was the fastest to complete the course, with Süleyman Yanar second in a Fiat Palio Kit Car and fellow female competitor Sevcan Sağıroğlu third in a Fiat Palio to complete the podium.
In Class 3, Nizamettin Kaynak won the battle among the Renault Sport Clios, with Bahadır Sevinç second. In Class 4, Ayhan Germirli, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, took both fastest time and the class win. Second in the class was Hüseyin Yıldırım in a VW Polo TDi.
