Akyüz Wins SSV Class, Gül Takes Car Category at Denizli Off-road
The DENDOFF Off-road Race, round five of the PETLAS 2025 Turkish Off-road Championship, was held on 25-26 October with 19 vehicles and 38 competitors across five categories.
Organised by the Denizli Nature Sports and 4×4 Off-road Sports Club (DENDOFF) with the support of Merkezefendi Municipality and Spor Toto, the event saw crews tackle a 12-kilometre endurance stage in Pamukkale on the first day, before competing on the spectator stage at the Merkezefendi Municipality Off-road Track on the second.
At the end of a demanding race, İsrafil Akyüz-Mert Tepe of Maceraist Rally Raid Team won the SSV category, with Salih Çarpışantürk-Mehmet Arda Demirkıran taking second and Eren Alver-Onur Sırımoğlu third.
In the Car category, Mustafa Gül-Serhat Dursun Akdemir won, İsmail Ayhan-Arda Arslan finished second and Durali Altınok-Serkan Sivri third. The top female co-driver of the race was Özge Sülün, who competed alongside Erkan Sülün.
The 2025 off-road season will conclude with the sixth round, to be organised by 54 Otomobil Spor Kulübü in Sakarya on 29-30 November 2025.
