Skoda Returns with Aegean Rally

With a motorsport heritage stretching back more than 100 years, Skoda continues to compete in rallies across numerous championships and countries with the Fabia R5, successor to the Fabia S2000.

Having backed Burak Çukurova, who competed with the Fabia S2000 in the 2011 and 2012 Turkish Rally Championship, Skoda returns to the 2017 Turkish Rally Championship after a five-year break with two Fabia R5s run by BC Vision Motorsport. On the Aegean Rally, the opening round of this year's season, the Skoda Fabia R5 crews will be Burak Çukurova/Vedat Bostancı and Uğur Soylu/Aras Dinçer.

As ever, the Aegean Rally season opener is expected to attract significant interest, and with its completely revamped stages it promises to be more exciting still. Skoda will support motorsport in the 2017 Turkish Rally Championship with two Fabia R5s.

The Aegean Rally covers a total route of 450 kilometres and comprises nine stages, with 105 kilometres of special stages. BC Vision Motorsport is aiming to win the event with the Skoda Fabia R5 and make a fast start to the season.
