Selami Sezer to Contest Kuyalnik Rally

Ukraine-based Turkish rally driver Selami Sezer is preparing to start the Kuyalnik Rally, to be held in Odessa on 26-27 August 2017.

The rally is being run in memory of two-time Ukrainian Rally Champion Yuriy Koçmar, who lost his life in a crash in his most recent event. Sezer will compete in a Seat Ibiza, with Igor Volodko alongside as co-driver.

A rich entry is expected for this year's Kuyalnik Rally, with cars from both Ukrainian state officials and other Eastern European countries.
The ceremonial start will take place at 18:00 on Saturday 26 August in front of the Odesa Opera House.

Selami Sezer and the volunteer Turkish rally team will once again bring Turkish hospitality to competitors and spectators at this event, with Turkish flags, pennants, posters and treats from Turkish cuisine.

The finish podium and prize-giving ceremony for the two-day rally will be held at 19:00 on Sunday 27 August, again in front of the Odessa Opera House.
