Countdown Begins for Rally Bodrum

The excitement of the Shell Helix 2022 Turkish Rally Championship, organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), kicks off on 15-17 April with Rally Bodrum in Bodrum, Muğla. Organised by Karya Automobile Sports Club as a championship candidate event last season, the rally will be held this year with national status as the season-opening round of the championship.
As last year, the rally excitement will begin with an exhibition and talk at Oasis Bodrum, one of the event's sponsors. The 'Legendary Rally Cars Exhibition', featuring the cars of champion drivers including Serdar Bostancı and Kemal Gamgam, can be visited at Oasis Bodrum from 11-15 April.
In addition, champion rally drivers Burak Çukurova of BC Vision Motorsport, Murat Bostancı of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, Orhan Avcıoğlu of Toksport WRT, Erkan Güral of GP Garage My Team and historic class driver Kemal Gamgam will meet motorsport fans at a talk at Oasis Bodrum on Thursday 14 April at 17:00.

Having won the Jury Special Award in the "Best Sports Event" category at last year's ACE of MICE Awards for congresses, meetings and events, becoming the first and only rally to receive an award, the event will offer sports fans a weekend full of excitement and adrenaline this year.

Held with the contribution of Bodrum Municipality and expanded this year to cover the entire peninsula, the event will begin with a start ceremony in Bodrum Square on the evening of Friday 15 April. On 16-17 April, Turkey's fastest drivers will compete over six different stages showcasing all of Bodrum's beauty, each of which will be run twice.
