Karting Fest Gets Underway

For lovers of speed and excitement, a brand-new event, Karting Fest, is preparing to bring a breath of fresh air to motorsport. Starting on 21 May, the event will run over three weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays, and will conclude after a total of 12 practice sessions and six races. At the festival, where adrenaline, speed and excitement come together in one place, each round will feature 12 karts and 36 competitors. Appealing to a wide age range, the races are open to anyone aged 13 and over who holds a TOSFED national karting licence, and will be held at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track.
The event will use 2022-model karts with Redspeed chassis powered by Vortex Rok GP Junior Cup engines, and all mechanical servicing will be provided by the organisers. In addition, every competitor will use a new set of tyres each week, while race suits, boots and gloves will be tailor-made for each individual.

TransAnatolia General Coordinator and Karting Fest founder Burak Büyükpınar said the team had been preparing for this event for a long time, commenting: "We have brought our many years of experience in motorsport to this project. Karting Fest is a very important opportunity for people who are interested in motorsport but have not been able to take part professionally. These races, run with professional equipment, offer a more affordable entry fee, and thanks to the short-term calendar, they are also an event that participants can plan around. We invite all motorsport fans to Karting Fest."
The entry fee for Karting Fest is €4,200 + VAT, and the races are planned to be broadcast live on YouTube.
