Favourites Take the Honours in Rallycross
The final round of the 2022 Turkish Rallycross Championship, organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) with ICRYPEX as title sponsor, was held at Körfez Yarış Pisti with 17 competitors across four categories.
After racing on the 1500-metre rallycross track, Ali İşeri, last year's champion, won Category 1, with Burak Dalkılıç second. In Category 2, as last year, Burak Başlık of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye took the win in a Ford Fiesta R2, with Mert Yudulmaz second and Levent Acar third. 
In Category 3, the top three were Halid Avdagiç, Gürkal Menderes of GP Garage My Team and Serkan Güleç, while in Category 4 Çağlayan Çelik won in an aloft Hotel-backed Ford Fiesta Rally3, with Ali Çatalbaş of GP Garage My Team second.
The event, followed with great interest and excitement by a large crowd of spectators, was enlivened by drifting demonstrations from Timur Pomak, Uğur Soylu, Ömer Örs, Abbas Çimen, Hande Tancar and Farnoush Rezaei.
