Grand Finale for the Rallycross Championship

The final round of the Turkish Rallycross Championship, the last national motorsport event of the 2018 season, will see 16 drivers from Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya in action. The final race will be held by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation on 15-16 December at the Körfez Race Track in Yarımca, Izmit...
The event, which will be run in a multiple-start format on a newly built 1,500-metre half-tarmac, half-gravel track, will be classified in four separate categories. Sunday 16 December begins with scrutineering and technical checks in the morning, followed by free practice at 10:00. Qualifying gets under way from 11:30, and after three separate qualifying rounds, the drivers will head into the semi-finals at 15:00 and the finals at 16:00.
Between 11:00 and 17:00, demonstrations by historic rally cars and Apex Masters drifting drivers will raise the tension at the track even further. In the paddock area, spectators will also be able to enjoy a rally simulator, an exhibition of classic cars and off-road vehicles, and surprise activities.
