Rallycross Continues in Ankara

Round 2 of the Turkish Rallycross Championship was held on the newly prepared Hitit Ayaş rallycross track in Güdül, Ankara. The event, in which 7 competitors from Istanbul and Ankara started across 2 separate categories, was organised by the Ankara Otomobil Sporları Kulübü (ANOK) on the newly built rallycross track at the Hitit Ayaş Thermal Health Centre and Holiday Village, using a multiple-start format.

In Category 2, Halid Avdagiç took the top spot with 26 points in an Avitaş Control 2, while Kerem Orak, in a similar car, was second with 25 points and Bora Arabacı was third with 21 points in an Anadol A1. In Category 3, Sinan Saatçi finished the event in first place with 29 points in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IV, while Yavuzhan Cabbaroğlu was second with 26 points in a Subaru Impreza WRX.

In the 2016 Turkish Rallycross Championship, which consists of 5 rounds in total, the season will conclude in October with events organised by the EOSK, KOSDER and BOSSEK clubs.
