Rally Excitement Kicks Off at Oasis Bodrum
Organised by Karya Automobile Sports Club for the third time this year, Rally Bodrum will give motorsport fans an adrenaline-filled weekend from 14-16 April. The event won the Jury Special Award in the "Best Sporting Event" category at the ACE of MICE Awards for Congress, Meeting and Event Awards, making it the first and only rally to receive such an accolade, and it begins with an exhibition and talk at Oasis Bodrum.
The traditional "Rally Car Exhibition", featuring cars driven by championship-winning drivers, can be visited at Oasis Bodrum from 9-16 April. In addition, championship-winning rally drivers Serdar Bostancı, Burak Çukurova and Kemal Gamgam, along with Bodrum-based competitors Ali Dinç and Furkan Paşalı, will meet motorsport fans at Oasis Bodrum at 19:00 on Wednesday 12 April for a talk, where they will answer questions about rallying. Castrol, long known for its support of motorsport in Turkey, will be on hand with rally simulators for event attendees.
Oasis Bodrum General Manager Özgen Özyurt shared his thoughts on the event, which they are sponsoring for the third time: "We are very pleased with the added value Rally Bodrum brings to our region and to sports tourism. There were some very positive effects in previous years, and it became the first award-winning rally. Bodrum is a global brand known to everyone who has experienced tourism beyond their own country. We will continue our support so that Rally Bodrum becomes identified with Oasis and the two are mentioned together."
Rally Bodrum, the opening round of the 2023 Turkish Rally Championship, of which Oasis Bodrum is also among the sponsors, will be run on stages in the Mumcular, Mazı and Etrim areas, showcasing the natural beauty of the peninsula.
