Orhangazi Sprint Rally Takes Breath Away

Bursa Otomobil Sporları Kulübü (BOSSEK) organised the long-awaited night rally under the name "Sprint Rally" on the evening of Sunday 25 October. Held with the support of Orhangazi Municipality, the rally saw competitors tackle a 3.30-kilometre gravel stage, laid out on the Orhangazi rallycross track and its surroundings, three times.

In the rally, which attracted 19 competitors from Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa and Kocaeli, Hakan Ertarman-Emrah Ali Başo won overall in a Renault Clio Ragnotti. Rasim Saygın-Nevzat Kara, competing for the first time, took second in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8, with Burak Başlık-Şeyda Gökçen Demir third in a Fiat Palio. Category 1 went to Burak Başlık, Category 3 to Hakan Ertarman and Category 5 to Rasim Saygın, while in Category 2 Uygar Birgili-Onurcan Şirin of Izmir took the win in a Peugeot 106 GTI.

The prizes for the top finishers were presented by Orhangazi District Governor Yalçın Yılmaz, Orhangazi Municipality Director of Cultural Affairs Çiğdem Yılmaz and BOSSEK President Atilla Beyhan.
