Off-road Battle Heads to Sinop

The Sinop Off-road Race, round five of the 2019 Turkish Off-road Championship, will be held on 9-10 November. It is organised by the Sinop Off-road Club with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Sinop Governorship and Sinop Municipality.
The crews will tackle seven special stages totalling 77.40km on a course laid out in the Akliman – Hamsilos area. The event stands out for a route that is easy to follow and watch, and highly enjoyable for spectators. From 12:15 on Saturday 9 November, the competing crews will complete the first day of the race by running the 13.80km endurance stage in Akliman, named Yalçın Özdaban, three times.
On the morning of Sunday 10 November, a memorial ceremony for the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk will be held at 09:05 at Sinop İskele Square, attended by competitors and officials. The 9km spectator stage, named Atam İzindeyiz, will then be run four times. This stage takes place on a course at Bostancılı Kışla Burnu. The event will conclude with the prize-giving ceremony at the Sporcu Kamp Eğitim Merkezi at 18:30.
